Top 10 Pop-Punk Bands Albums in the 2000's
The TOP 10 Pop-Punk Bands Albums:
“I Fell in Love with the Bands at the
Rock Show”:
The bands here
are bands I have chosen on which I thought were the superior bands in the
pop-punk genre and the ones who have gain popularity over the years. This
article will be focusing on the top 10 pop-punk albums throughout the 2000’s. Let's ROCK!
1. Blink-182 Take Off Your Pants and Jacket (2001)
“The Rock Show”
The
kings of pop-punk. Blink-182 was probably your first pop-punk band that
you have listened too. Blink-182 is that one band that makes you want to be on
the movie Jackass because of how crazy these guys were.
2. Sum 41 All Killer No Filler (2001)

“In Too Deep”
3. Jimmy Eat World Bleed American (2001)
"The Middle"
Ahh…
Jimmy Eat World. This band that got you through middle school because you knew
you were different from all the other kids in your school because of what you
liked. The song The Middle was also your middle school anthem (no pun intended
there).
4. Good Charlotte The Young and the Hopeless (2002)
“The Anthem”
Good Charlotte was where it was at! This
band could either make you feel so much or make you want to be that rebel kid
in school.
5. Yellowcard Ocean Avenue (2003)
“Ocean Avenue”
Alright… we
already know the first song you heard by Yellowcard was of course Ocean
Avenue. Even though it had that pop-punk sound, this song described your
teenage years and your first love. Pop-punk love was truly the best. It is sad
to say they played their final show at the last Vans Warped Tour. *sad reacts
only*
6. Green Day American Idiot (2004)
“Boulevard of Broken Dreams”
Green Day is also probably one of the first pop-punk bands that you have heard.
When the American Idiot album dropped, we all wanted to revolt against
the government, but the song Boulevard of Broken Dreams really got you in the
feels!
7. Bowling for Soup A Hangover You Don’t Deserve (2004)
“1985”
Bowling for Soup really had that pop-punk feel. Now,
the song 1985 was that one song that got you remembered what the late 80’s was
like and it is insane how time can change so much in the music industry. Next
thing you know we may have a song about the 2000’s and our future kids will
think
we’re uncool”.
we’re uncool”.
8. Boys Like Girls Boys Like Girls (2006)
“The Great Escape”
Boys Like Girls was that band we all had
the feels for because of their music. Can we take a moment to remember the good
times when our pop stations would play their songs? Good times… good times.
“Misery Business”
Two
words. Hayley. Williams. We ALL loved her and we all wanted to have her bright
orange hair. She really made pop-punk open for female singers. Misery Business
was that one song where we wanted to get revenge on someone. We honestly ROCKED
out hardcore to this song and it is still one of our favorite pop-punk songs
till this day.
“Dear Maria, Count Me In”
“I GOT YOUR PICTURE…” You probably are singing the rest of the lyrics, aren’t you? All Time Low is that one band that hits us in the feels and I know you all still ship Jalex! The good ol' Tumblr days.
